Is Momovel free?
It's free to download, and every new account gets 7 days of everything free, add-ons included. After that, Essentials is $1.99 a month (or $22.69 a year), and each add-on is $1.99 a month.
Do I need a card for the trial?
No. You sign up with an email address and a password, nothing else.
What happens when the trial ends?
Nothing is charged, and your account stays. To keep using Momovel, choose Essentials on the Plan page, and add any extras you'd like to keep.
What's in Essentials?
Maps and directions, public transport, maps that work with no signal, what's near you, city guides, place names in the local script, emergency numbers, entry rules and arrival cards, government travel advice, live notices, hazards and earthquakes nearby, a flight delay compensation helper, and alerts on your phone.
What are add-ons?
Extras you add one at a time: Momo the companion, the camera, the interpreter, the trip planner with My trip, trip money, rain radar and storms, scam check and family tracking. Each is a small monthly price, shown before you choose it.
Why isn't it free after the trial?
Maps, live data and the AI features cost us money every time they're used. A small subscription is how we keep Momovel running.
Where does it work?
Anywhere in the world. Maps, directions and saved areas work in every country; public transport covers the cities that publish their timetables.
Is there an app for my phone?
Yes. Download the Android app, free. Your phone may ask you to allow the install, because it isn't from the Play Store.
On iPhone, open Momovel in Safari and choose Add to Home Screen; it opens like an app.
Can I stop an add-on?
Yes. Stop any add-on from the Plan page in the app, whenever you like.
How is my account protected?
With your password, and two-factor sign-in if you switch it on.
